MALANDRUCCOLO, age 51 of Kitchener, Ontario, has been charged with eight counts of illegally possessing or trafficking government identity documents, identity fraud, uttering forged documents, fraud over $5000.00, and failure to comply with court order.

At this stage, investigators are requesting assistance in detecting any further fraudulent activity and to continue gathering evidence.

Sometime between March 21st and 29th, 30’ of heavy copper wire was stolen from the Sunnyside Waste Management site. 12 refrigerated shipping containers were also vandalized resulting in more than $10,000 in damages.

Do You Know This Suspect?

On Thursday, January 27 at approx 8:00 am, RNC Officers arrived at a business on Harvey Road in St. John’s and located a female with visible injuries. It was determined the female was assaulted and the suspect fled the area on foot. The investigation in to the incident remains active.

The suspect is described  as a white male, approximately 50 years old, 5’7” with a medium build, dark curly hair and was wearing dark clothes.

Theft at EastLink Events Centre

Sometime between December 7th and 8th, a Red 2014 Arctic Cat 500 ATV was stolen from the EastLink Events Centre shed in Clarenville.

The ATV has extra headlights, a winch, and a homemade wooden carrier on the front. Licence plate number VGA099, VIN 4UF14ATVXET209461.

Brazen Theft from Cabin

$15,000 worth of household goods and appliances were stolen from a cabin on Cabot Highway in Bellevue, NL. The owner lives out of province and upon return, discovered that the cabin had been broken into sometime between August 2019 and August 2021.

Items stolen include:

– Admiral Washer and Dryer

– Moffat Stove

– Masterchef BBQ

– Makita Electric Chain Saw

– Sealy Queen Mattress and Box Spring

– Solid Wood Master Bedroom Suite

– Woodstove

– Many other household items including small kitchen appliances, linens, cleaning supplies and lightbulbs.

Suspicious Activity at Camping Area

On October 4th 2021 at 6pm a user of the Jay 1 Pit, along route 230, interrupted a theft in progress. Upon arrival, a quad was seen leaving the area quickly.

There were several trailers that were set up in the area which were broken into. All the external storage boxes were forced open as well.

Over $2000 worth of items were stolen including:

  • Sway Bar
  • Propane stove
  • BBQ (Black and Red)
  • Tanks of Oil
  • Extension cords
  • A tent, no description
  • Trailer Hitch
  • Boots
