The Athletics NorthEast brought some Christmas cheer to the staff and volunteers of Newfoundland and Labrador Crime Stoppers this week.

Representatives of the running club brought a donation of $1000 to support the ongoing work of the provincial anonymous tip program.

Thank you Athletics NorthEast for this important contribution to the safety of our communities. Merry Christmas.

The theme this year is “Creating Partnerships Against Crime”

The foundation of Crime Stoppers is the partnership between the community, law enforcement and media. Crime Stoppers works to educate the public and create awareness on illegal activities in an effort to help promote the Canadian values of safety, empowerment and inclusion.   Creating awareness and mobilizing Canadians in reporting suspicious or criminal activity anonymously requires a network of partners working together for a common end.

Newfoundland and Labrador Crime Stoppers thanks its many partners for their continued support and look forward to growing the program in the year ahead.

Newfoundland and Labrador Crime Stoppers Launch #WhatchaDid Campaign

St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, January 10, 2022 – Newfoundland and Labrador Crime Stoppers is celebrating Crime Stoppers month with the launch of its #WhatchaDid campaign.

NL Crime Stoppers want the people of Newfoundland and Labrador to know #WhatchaDid, how tips are making a positive impact the community. Tips have prevented deaths, shut down drug operations and taken impaired drivers off our streets. It’s time these successes were shared, NL Crime Stoppers will use #WhatchaDid to celebrate tipsters and show how tips keep communities safe.

Celebrating our tipsters doesn’t stop there, with the help of Cohen’s Home Furnishings, NL Crime Stoppers thanks its supporters with a chance to win a Samsung 43″ Class TU7000 Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV.
