Halifax Regional Police is requesting the public`s assistance in locating a man reported missing from  the East Coast Forensic Hospital.
 
Fifty eight year old  Mark Baltzer was reported missing to police at 8.20 p.m. on Saturday, January 10th, when  he left the East Coast Forensic Hospital without permission.
Mr. Baltzer is described as a white male, 6`0, 210 lbs, he has short grey  hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a beige hoody and jeans.
He left the hospital driving a 2012 black Dodge Ram truck, Nova Scotia License FDB 633
 
Mr Baltzer requires medication and ongoing treatment at the Hospital.
 
Halifax Regional Police are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mark Baltzer to contact police at 490-5016. On December 20th, 2014 Christopher SUTTON was released from Her Majesty`s Penitentiary after serving his sentence for several offences. Clarenville, NL RCMP are seeking to locate and arrest Christopher SUTTON for several serious person offenses occurring during December 25th and December 26th, 2015

 

Christopher SUTTON does possess a extensive Criminal Record and was serving a 18 month Probation order after just being released from prison when he committed the offences. SUTTON was on a drug abuse rampage and is very paranoid, delusional, violent and unpredictable. He has said that the Police will have to "shoot him" this time because he is not going back to jail.

 

The Clarenville, NL Crown Prosecutor is currently working to obtain a Warrant Canada Wide for Christopher SUTTON. It is clear to the Crown that Christopher SUTTON does not wish to be located by Police and due to his violent, unstable nature, use extreme caution and back up when dealing with Christopher SUTTON. Christopher Sutton’s last possible known location is Edmonton, Alberta.

The RNC are releasing two composite drawings developed by an RNC Police Forensic Artist. The drawings depict likenesses of the suspect responsible and are not photographs. The first drawing (not shown here) depicts a likeness at the time of the incident, described as approximately 23 years old, 5`9" with short brown hair. As the suspect has aged five years since the incident, the RNC Police Forensic Artist has composed a second (as shown), age enhanced depiction.

The RNC is continuing to investigate this crime and are seeking the assistance of the general public. During the early morning hours of December 7, 2009, a break and enter occurred at Jungle Jim`s on Torbay Road in St. John`s. A safe was taken by a male suspect, described as being in his late 30s or early 40s and wearing a dark coloured jacket.

The establishment`s video system captured images during this crime and police are now releasing photographs of the suspect taken from those images. The photograph is attached.

St. John`s NL, February 9, 2010 - The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary`s General Investigation Unit is seeking the public`s assistance in identifying a male who committed an armed robbery at Quick Cash Ltd. on Freshwater Road in St. John`s.  On January 28, 2010 at 8:15 PM, a male entered the business on Freshwater Road, jumped over the counter and demanded money from the female employee. He was carrying a crow bar which at the time was believed to be a walking cane. The suspect obtained a quantity of money and left the business on foot heading towards the Avalon Mall. The employee was not injured.

The suspect had his face covered by a dark coloured mask, and he was wearing a grey winter jacket with a stripe, dark coloured plaid pants, black gloves and white sneakers. Today, investigators have released surveillance images of the male suspect (which are attached).  The RNC is seeking the assistance of the general public. At approximately 7:08 pm on the 22nd of November, 2009 a man came into the Cash & Carry on Main Street in Mount Moriah. The man bought some Nevada tickets and wanted a lottery ticket.  When the sales clerk went to get the lottery ticket for the man, he claimed to have won $100 from one of the tickets.  He collected the money and left.  The sales clerk noticed the bells fell off the Nevada ticket; meaning that the man had altered the ticket in question.  If you have any information regarding this crime or any others, you are asked to contact your local police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Police were contacted by bank officials on November 24 and 25, 2009 who reported that a female was attempting to open accounts using false identification.

The suspect is described as being non-white, in her late 20`s or early 30`s, 5` 3" - 5` 6" in height and a heavy build.

Today, investigators have released surveillance images of the suspect .

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary`s Major Crime Unit is seeking the public`s assistance in identifying a male who has recently been reported to police as acting suspiciously in the Thorburn Road, Exmouth Street area. 

The witness reports seeing this person on two occasions and was approached by him both times. With the assistance of the witness, the RNC Forensic Art Unit prepared a composite sketch of the individual (attachment). The drawing depicts a likeness of the suspect responsible and is not a photograph.

The suspect is described as being in his late 20`s, 5` 9" to 6` tall, muscular build, short brown hair and one eye may not open as wide as the other.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary`s Economic Crime Unit is requesting the assistance of the general public in identifying male believed to be involved in credit card fraud.  On October 28, 2009 at 3:00 PM an unidentified male entered a financial institution located on Torbay Rd, St. John`s and requested a cash advance on a fraudulent VISA card. A bank employee requested two pieces of identification and the suspect produced an Ontario driver`s licence and a Social Insurance Card, both later proven to be fraudulent. When the employee informed the suspect she had to contact VISA he left the bank.   The suspect is described as being approximately 35 yrs of age, stocky build, bald, no facial hair and 5` 6" to 5` 7" in height. Investigators with the Economic Crime Unit are currently investigating this complaint and several other similar occurrences. They are looking for the public`s assistance in identifying the person pictured in the attached fraudulent Ontario driver`s licence. On February 5th, 2008, between the hours of 10:45 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., two credit cards were stolen out of a vehicle that was parked at marble mountain in Steady Brook, NL.The victim didn`t notice the cards missing until arriving in Deer Lake and attempting to use them. When the complainant arrived home they called the companies and discovered that the one card had been used in Corner Brook at Wal-mart, Staples, EB Games and Zellers. At least $5841.49 was used on the stolen cards to purchase mostly electronics. The Female in the picture is the suspect with the ball cap. The picture shows her in Wal-mart before making two separate transactions.
