On the night of Friday, July 20, 2018, several cars were rummaged through in the area of Sullivan and Balbo Street in Gander.  The suspect only went through unlocked vehicles in the area.  Photos were retrieved from surveillance cameras in the area.  Unfortunately, no description is available at this time.

Break and Enter on Avondale Access Road

The Holyrood RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in solving a theft in Holyrood.

 

Sometime between 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on March 28, 2018, someone broke into a residence on Avondale Access Rd where some very old jewelry was stolen from the residence.

Items stolen was a necklace that is over 60 years old. It had stones in middle and was yellow.

Another item was a handmade sterling silver bracelet hand that is over 100 years old.

Assault at Squid Festival in Holyrood

On July 22 at 2:33 AM, a male was leaving the concert grounds at the Squid Festival in Holyrood and was jumped from behind and assaulted. He sustained a dislocated shoulder.  The suspect was wearing a Toronto Maple Leafs hat and had goatee. No other description was provided.

Theft of Boat and Anchor in Happy Valley-Goose Bay

The Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in solving a theft on Mud Lake Road.

 

Sometime between 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 and 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, a motor boat and anchor was stolen from the boat launch on Mud Lake Road in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.  The boat motor is a 25 horse power Yamaha, model number F25LA, and serial number 6BPK1009627, lower fin has a chip out of it; power trim in handle (tiller handle).  The mud anchor is brown in colour with a tweeny size 15 on the base for the 15 pounds it was. It is made of galvanized steel.

Theft of Snowmobile in Gander

Residential Break and Enter in Reidville

The Deer Lake RCMP is seeking the publics assistance is solving a residential break and enter

 

On January 27, 2018, Deer Lake RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter into a residence in Reidville.  While the homeowners were away, a safe was stolen that contained a large amount of cash along with other items.  This incident occurred between Monday, January 15, 2018 and Saturday, January 27, 2018.
